MRI has the privilege of operating 9 group homes in the community in order to meet the needs of developmentally disabled citizens in the Macon County area. By adopting a home you can be directly involved in enhancing the lives of our individuals served!
“My brother, Phillip, was born in 1958 and attended Progress School, Sunnyside School, and Macon Resources until his death in 2015. He loved MRI. His life was better because of the dedicated staff and programs provided by MRI. After his death, I wanted to continue to enhance the lives of individuals, and I felt one way to do that was to suggest the Adopt a Group Home Program. This program has been implemented at MRI and I am excited to tell you I adopted my home in April 2019. This is a wonderful and rewarding program. I hope you will join me in enhancing the lives of individuals living in a group home or apartment operated by MRI.” ~ Patty McNulty
