Kid’s Connection

Hours of operation are Monday – Friday (closed on holidays); hours vary with school schedules to coordinate with school transportation and school holidays. Kid’s Connection is licensed through the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
Who does Kid’s Connection Serve?
Ages served: 5 to 12 years old; up to 18 years old if child has special needs
Eligibility Criteria for students 13 to 18 years old:
- In good health and free of communicable diseases
- Free of severe medical conditions requiring medical/nursing attention or supervision
- No serious maladaptive behavior that poses safety threats to self or others
- Parent(s) must be working
What does the Kid’s Connection program offer?
After School Care Program
Hours – vary with school schedules to coordinate with school transportation. A typical schedule is Monday- Friday after school until 5:30
Cost – varies based on family need

Summer Care Program
Kid’s Connection summer care program supports working families with high-quality child care while providing the enrolled child with individualized care to ensure the child can participate in programming. Programming varies, but includes lunch and am/pm snack. Programming includes individualized and group activities led by highly trained staff to ensure student enrichment.
Hours – Monday- Friday from 8:00am-5:30pm
Cost – varies based on family need
