Macon A Difference Poker Run - May 17

Macon Resources, Inc. (MRI) is hosting the 1st Annual Macon A Difference Poker Run on May 17. Proceeds from this Poker Run will fund emergency preparedness projects for people with disabilities. Since the devastation of Katrina, it has become blatantly clear that social service and mental health agencies could be doing more for the vulnerable populations in every area of the country. Proceeds will also benefit Kid’s Connection, an after-school program for special education students.
The Macon A Difference Poker Run will begin at Macon Resources, 2121 Hubbard Avenue in Decatur at 8:00am on Saturday, May 17.
Pancake and Sausage breakfast from 8am-10:30am for $5 per person. The community is invited!
Blessing of the Bikes at 10:30am. First bikes depart at 11am.
Enjoy over 100 miles through scenic Central Illinois. Stops include:
- Korn Krib - Latham
- Lowery's Centerfield - Mt. Pulaski
- Long's Tavern - Mt. Auburn (lunch provided)
- American Tap - Taylorville
- Al's Place/Nite Al's - Sullivan

Entry fee: $40 VIP Registration includes breakfast, one poker hand, lunch, entry to post run party, dinner. $25 Regular Registration includes one poker hand and lunch. Prizes for 1st and 2nd best hands and worst hand!
POST RUN PARTY at The Bourbon Barrel Bar & Grill, 1355 N. Rt. 48 in Decatur starts at 5pm. $5 cover. Dinner available for $5. Live music from 8pm-midnight. Everyone is welcome! Must be 21 to enter.
