National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month: Paint the Town Orange 2026

March is Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and Macon Resources, Inc. (MRI) invites you to Paint the Town Orange with us! 

During the week of March 9–13, we’re partnering with local businesses to celebrate the inclusion, contributions, and potential of people with developmental disabilities. Participation is free—just bring your Orange Spirit!

How to Get Involved:

• Register here!
• Arrange to pick up your Paint the Town Orange kit at the MRI Main Campus March 4-6 anytime between 9:00am-4:00pm.  Each kit will include an orange paper chain, display signs, and 10 lapel ribbons.
• Decorate your space March 9-13: we will provide you with an orange paper chain, a display sign, & orange ribbons for your staff to wear.
• Share the Love! Take photos of your staff and decorated space. Invite us over to see it or tag MRI on Facebook. https://www.facebook.com/maconresources
