National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month
At MRI, we recognize and celebrate the abilities of our persons served every day and we invite you to learn more about how to take the “dis” out of “disability” by keeping an eye out for orange signs around Decatur as community support Paints the Town Orange and following our Facebook and Instagram (@macon_resources)!
March is National Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (#DDAM2025)! This effort highlights how people with and without disabilities can come together to form strong communities. DDAM raises awareness of the inclusion and contributions of people with developmental disabilities in all aspects of community life and serves as a time to explore the work still needed to remove barriers.
“My disability does not define who I am.”
-Carl, Person Served at MRI
