The Bravehearts Against Bullying
Our Bravehearts were featured in a newsletter by the Illinois Self Advocacy Alliance for their Anti-Bullying efforts!
The Bravehearts organized a rally called, “Let’s Stop It! Bullying,” where they showed an anti-bullying video to teach those around them some ways to standing up against bullying. Everyone from Macon Resources was invited to the event. After the video was over, our Bravehearts passed out lanyards with cards that said, “Let’s Stop It! Bullying,” to help those that can become hesitant to speak when around a bully.
On top of the video presentation, they shared a few messages to the participants.:
- Be present for one another.
- If you see something, say something!
- Let’s go to the NEXT LEVEL, take back our power!
- Bullying STOPS on our watch!
