Camp EARTH: Empowering Youth Through Hands-On Environmental Work
What is Camp Earth?
- A hands-on summer program that is 4 weeks long; focused on horticulture, landscaping, and environmental beautification
- Open to youth ages 14–21, with a special emphasis on supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- A blend of work experience, team activities, field trips, and skill-building workshops
- Small group structure with a 1:3 staff-to-student ratio to ensure support and guidance
Camp EARTH participants work throughout Macon County to beautify parks, schools, businesses, and community spaces—learning practical skills while making a visible impact.

Pre-Vocational Skills
- Hands-on experience in landscaping and gardening
- Tasks such as planting, weeding, mulching, and designing plant layouts
