Supportive Employment is a person-centered approach that helps individuals find, prepare for, and succeed in meaningful jobs—while building confidence, independence, and life skills along the way.
At Macon Resources, Inc., supportive employment means walking alongside individuals throughout their employment journey. We help people develop essential social and workplace skills, build relationships, and grow the self-esteem needed to lead fulfilling lives with personal and professional achievement.

Through partnerships with local employers, our team:
Identifies job opportunities, assists with applications, and helps with job interviews
Practical Assessment Lab Exploration System Lab
Our employment services include work evaluations and hands-on skill training, including instruction in our PAES Lab (Practical Assessment Exploration System). With personalized support and practical training, we help individuals gain the skills they need to secure—and succeed in—the employment they deserve.
What our services include:
Skills and interests assesments, job search and applications, interview preparation, job readiness, vocational advocacy, and public transportation training.
Eligibility
Individuals must provide documentation showing a developmental disability and/or mental health diagnosis prior to age 18.
Acceptable documentation may include:
- Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Psychological evaluations
- Medical history records
- Doctor’s statement confirming diagnosis
